How to play an electromagnetic synthesizer

Koma Chromaplane
artist talk w/ Zuzana Hamm aka FridaY
It looks like an iPad, you play it like a Theremin. You can play an ATM with it, but it's a synthesizer! Musician and journalist Zuzana Hamm aka FridaY will transport you to the world of unique sounds of the Chromaplane analog synthesizer, the first electromagnetic synthesizer of its kind, which was created as a collaboration between KOMA Elektronik and the artistic duo Passepartout Duo. We will find out how the Chromaplane works, how it is played and what its functions are. Participants will have the opportunity to try it out for themselves and Zuzana will also play a part of her soundtrack to the book Flora by Jonáš Zbořil, which she composed purely on the Chromaplane, and which will be released this summer on the bitumen lichen label.

The Synth Library stands thanks to volunteers and donations. Your workshop donations are split between the facilitators of the workshop and the running costs of the library.
